Samsung Galaxy Note 8: We expect something big in 2017 with Note 8. The reason is simple. Samsung will do everything to overcome the present crisis that they face because of Note 7’s manufacturing defects.
2016 was not a good year for the company. Note 7’s issues severely affected them and forced to withdraw the device from the market. Naturally it created impact on their profit margin as well. So we are quite sure that Samsung will bring a couple of interesting, innovative changes with upcoming version, otherwise they will lose the game for ever.
Samsung usually launches their Note series in August every year. But Note 7’s failure prompts them to release the predecessor a couple of months earlier, probably in March or April 2017.
Note 8 is said to be using its competitor, LG’s batteries on it. If such reports are true, the company is going to replace their own batteries as faulty battery cells resulted in catching fire of its prestigious models last time.
Samsung may continue with 5.7″ screen and will feature 4 K display. It will be powered by recently launched Snapdragon 830 chip set. RAM size will be increased from 4 GB to at least 6 GB or probably 8 GB.
Note 8 may have 64/128/256 GB internal storage variants. We expect a 21 MP or minimum 16 MP camera on rear side and a 8 MP camera for video calls, selfies etc.
Fingerprint scanner, Retina scanner and Fast battery charging are other features of the model. It will be backed by a more than 4000 mAh battery.
